The farmers market is
Minnesota's largest open-air, covered market. We will open for the
2005 season on April 23rd and will be open 7 days a week, from 6
a.m. to 1 p.m. until December 24th. The Minneapolis Farmers' Market
is open rain or shine, is wheelchair accessible, and is a WIC
participant. This is a truly fun experience for the entire family! |

Explore the largest regional park in
Minneapolis, Theodore Wirth Park! The park utilizes seasonal weather
changes to maximize visitor activities. The summer golf
fairways are converted into winter snow tubing courses and cross
country skiing paths. This park can boast a true year
round use from it's activities. The golf course pro shop is
also used during the winter as a center for the winter sports.
The park also hosts the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird
Sanctuary, Picnics in the large 1900s picnic pavilion and much more.
