Wondering if anyone knows where to buy scaffolding? We’re looking for something small, enough to fit up through our entryway at home to hang art and light fixtures. I saw one at Home Depot for $700… wondering if that’s a good deal, or if there’s a better place to purchase from for this size.

For stair wells one usually uses a combination of ladders step and extension types along with scaffolding planks to be able to stand out in the upper space of the stair well. See the attached drawing. Also, some step ladders are adjustable to work on a stairway as well. The scaffolding you linked to would be extremely difficult to assemble in a stairwell area.
